Carson Lee is a very special little guy to me. I remember when his mommy Jen went into labor, she didn't even know she was pregnant and Carson was born premature. Now he's a mighty 1 year old with eyes that could kill!

Why I Choose Photography

I am new to the blogging world but very excited to start blogging my adventures with my awesome clients! I guess my first blog can be about why I choose photography and how I feel in love with it.

I have always dabbled in photography from time to time but never fully committed to it. Every know and then I would snap a shot of the perfect smile or truly capture someone's true essence and be completely blown away. I didn't take the full photography plunge until my grandfathers passed in 2009. Once I realized I had hardly any photos to remember these two wonderful men by, I set myself in motion. So my love for photography grew into a passionate love affair between my camera and myself. I was determined to make photography a full time thing. I tried for months to book sessions and got no where, but finally I caught a break and booked my first "real" gig which was a maternity session! At that moment, Ashley Hylton Photography was truly alive and nothing was going to hold me back.
